In a genre-bending career marked by evolution, emotion, and cultural resonance, Xayne Outlander continues his upward trajectory with the release of his latest single, “I’ll Go” — a vulnerable yet empowering pop offering that captures the heartbreak of letting go with grace.
Blending Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeats, the American-born artist has built a unique soundscape that connects across continents and cultures. With over seven years in the music industry, Xayne’s journey began in childhood, performing live in grade school and honing his voice in high school choir. His breakout moment came in 2018 with the viral success of “Ethiopia”, a self-produced track that not only earned him international recognition and radio play in Chicago but also landed him a spot on Spotify’s editorial This Is Ethiopia playlist.
Formerly known as Saba West, he signed his first distribution deal with EMPIRE at just 19 and released the standout single “Two Braids (Pretty Lady)”. In 2021, a bold rebrand to Xayne Outlander signaled a new chapter, one that led to streaming success with “Play Me” and the full-length debut album OBLIVION in 2022.
By 2023, his EP Hollow arrived under Sony’s The Orchard, accompanied by his first paid live performance at The Forge in Illinois. His 2024 single “Heaven Awot”, released under Roc Nation Distribution, was a touching tribute to an Ethiopian child whose tragic story inspired global fundraising and awareness — a testament to Xayne’s commitment to music with meaning.
Now, in “I’ll Go”, Xayne takes a turn inward. The track is a bittersweet meditation on heartbreak, self-worth, and the emotional courage it takes to walk away. With its dreamy melodies and rhythmic pop bounce, the song explores themes of distance and emotional departure, delivering an honest narrative that’s as poetic as it is relatable. “I’ll Go” isn’t about giving up — it’s about choosing yourself when love no longer feels like home.
“Whether you’ve had to walk away or wished someone had stayed,” Xayne explains, “‘I’ll Go’ is your anthem.”
Xayne has been featured in HipHopSince1987, Vents Magazine, and Rolling Hype, and continues to build momentum with every release. You can stay connected with his journey on Instagram and Snapchat, where he shares updates, behind-the-scenes content, and personal insights.
