R&B icon USHER is set to receive the Legend of Live honor at the 2025 Billboard Live Music Summit, Billboard announced on Tuesday, October 13, which also happens to be his birthday.
Presented by VENU, the event will take place on November 3 at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood.
This recognition comes on the heels of USHER’s massive Past Present Future Tour, which kicked off in August 2024 in Washington, D.C., and wrapped up this past spring in London after 83 shows around the world. Before his international run, the superstar dominated Las Vegas, performing at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show and headlining two sold-out residencies between 2021 and 2023. In total, he played 120 concerts during his runs at The Colosseum and Park MGM.
Alongside USHER’s appearance, the summit will also feature a guided sound bath experience hosted by music executive and wellness leader Brandon Holman, together with Amber Health co-founder Zack Borer.
This year’s summit will highlight key discussions shaping the live entertainment industry, including No Bots Allowed: Inside Chappell Roan’s Fan-First Ticketing Strategy, Spotlight Conversation: The Rise of Rauw Alejandro, How Warped Tour Built a Lasting Legacy and Returned in 2025, The Women Leading the Booking Space (sponsored by Allegiant Stadium), and Building Touring’s Sustainable Future with Maggie Baird, the mother of Billie Eilish and FINNEAS and a leader in music sustainability.
The one-day Billboard Live Music Summit will bring together artists, executives, and innovators from across live entertainment for a series of panels, networking sessions, and an awards ceremony. The event, programmed by Billboard senior editor Eric Renner Brown, will also include a networking lunch sponsored by AEG, an evening cocktail hour presented by Live Nation, and a ceremony honoring the top names and trailblazers in live music today.
