The director/producer of the video is Steve Bays, who is an acclaimed Canadian musician (Hot Hot Heat, Mounties – with Hawksley), music producer and video director. He says of the video:
“I wanted this video to be about the beauty of those rare moments when we allow ourselves to be truly present in the moment. I feel like Hawksley’s lyrics have somehow, over the years, seeped in to my subconscious and taught me to see the beauty in the minutia of the day to day… family, nature, love.. the important things that somehow get pushed to the back of our priority list in the modern age. So I tried to make a video that was void of my usual gags/tricks/quirks.. just peace and love…”
