July 11, 2025 – Los Angeles, CA — Alt-pop troublemaker Dolo Tonight has officially entered the UK music charts with his latest single “Live Your Life,” scoring placements on two charts published by the Official Charts Company (OCC) — the UK’s recognized chart authority.
This week, “Live Your Life” debuted at:
#68 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart
#73 on the Official Singles Sales Chart

Widely respected across the global music industry, OCC charts reflect verified music consumption across digital and physical sales — making this a major milestone for any independent artist. Dolo’s chart entry comes just months ahead of his highly anticipated album DVD Rental Store, arriving this fall via Epitaph Records.
Blending nostalgic indie rock with chaotic storytelling and cathartic hooks, “Live Your Life” is the latest chapter in the DVD Rental Store universe — a concept-driven project set inside a surreal, lore-filled video store that connects every track, skit, and moment.
Naturally, Dolo had this to say about his UK debut:
“I have no clue how this happened. Maybe the Queen’s ghost queued it up. Maybe a Tesco employee played it on loop in aisle 7. Maybe some guy named Alfie in Leeds accidentally bought 80 copies. All I know is I’ve officially charted in the UK and I’m never letting it go. I will now only respond to ‘UK Charting Artist Dolo Tonight.’ I’m practicing my accent. I’m eating beans on toast. I’m legally allowed in Wetherspoons barefoot. Respect me or fight me, innit.”
Dolo Tonight didn’t just sneak onto the charts. He crept in through the DVD menu. If this is what the warm-up looks like, consider this your early warning. This one is not just buzzing. He’s bootlegged into the system and he’s not going anywhere.
