Bruno Mars Serenades Karol G in Romantic ‘Dance With Me’ Official Music Video

Bruno Mars is leaning all the way into old-fashioned romance with the official music video for “Dance With Me,” bringing Karol G along for a cinematic serenade filled with late-night phone calls, live strings and fireworks. The visual arrived Oct. 1 as the latest chapter from Mars’ fourth solo album, The Romantic.

The video opens with Mars alone, electric guitar in hand, singing into a pay phone as Karol G listens from bed on the other end of the line. What begins as a quiet long-distance exchange soon grows into something much grander, as Mars leaves the phone booth and appears beneath her balcony backed by a full band and string section.

From there, the visual embraces the kind of sweeping romantic imagery suggested by the song itself. Karol eventually makes her way downstairs and into Mars’ arms, with the two sharing an intimate dance as fireworks fill the sky above them. The closing moments keep the focus on their chemistry, turning “Dance With Me” into a straightforward but polished love story.

There is also a playful connection to the pair’s previous collaboration. A photograph of Mars and Karol seen in the video is the same image used for the artwork of “Still,” their earlier duet from Karol G’s album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. That song reached No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

Musically, “Dance With Me” closes The Romantic with a slow-dance approach built around live instrumentation and Mars’ smooth vocal delivery. The song was written by Bruno Mars, Dernst Emile II, James Fauntleroy and Philip Lawrence, with Mars and D’Mile handling production. Its arrangement includes strings, guitar, bass, percussion, piano and keyboards, giving the track the warm, classic feel that carries into the video.

The song originally arrived with The Romantic earlier in 2026 and debuted at No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving Mars his first album to debut atop the chart.

The video also follows Mars’ performance of “Dance With Me” at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, where he took home Best R&B for “I Just Might.” Its arrival comes as he continues The Romantic Tour, including a run of stadium dates in Los Angeles before additional shows across North America.

With “Dance With Me,” Bruno Mars keeps the concept deliberately timeless. There are no complicated plot twists or oversized effects at the center of the visual, just a late-night phone call that becomes a full romantic gesture. With Karol G playing opposite him, the video turns one of The Romantic’s most tender songs into exactly what its title promises: an invitation to forget everything else and share one more dance.
