Blake Hilley, double bass, and Umi Garrett, piano, are Juilliard musicians. Together, they wished to create an EP of famous songs that truly capture feelings beyond cognitive expression. Included in the album is Camille Saint-Sean’s “The Swan” from his Carnival of the Animals. The aria is an enchanting melody that is characterized by the lovely creature: arcane and graceful.
